a few satsumas

I bought a handful of satsumas from the grocery store, brought them home, and immediately forgot about them. And I mean, immediately. I put the bag on the counter, shoved it to the side to put away the rest of the groceries, then BOOM...two and a half weeks later there are sad satsumas in my kitchen.

The leaves are shrively (not a word, I know) and the skin is starting to pucker. But an almost-too shriveled to eat satsuma is still beautiful (and delicious!).

Here's my little version of still life with satsumas.
