singapore / weather forecast poem
singapore / 84℉ - clear, with periodic clouds
i lost my sunglasses
on the way to work
and with the bright light
shining in my eyes,
i walked with eyes half closed
and stumbled with arms slightly outstretched,
bumping into strangers
and moving with uncertain steps.
and when i stepped inside,
away from the sun's rays,
i found myself missing
the bright uncertainty
of the street.
