rio de janeiro, brazil / 91℉ - clear

where the mountain air

meets the sea breeze

and the sea breeze

meets the city cement

and the city cement

meets the clear blue sky

and the clear blue sky

sighs clouds of satisfaction.

we stand in that space

of city and mountain and sea

and inhale all of it - every bit of it

into our lungs

and exhale a bit of ourselves

into the churn

and the sea and the city and the mountain

breathes us in

and is glad.
